The small resort Talamanca is just 2 km from the centre of cosmopolitan Ibiza Town and a short stroll from Marina Botafoch and Pacha, which influences the truly international character of the beach. Cala Talamanca is a long, curved beach creating an insular little paradise, with soft sand shelves and clear water making it excellent for safe bathing.

A wooden boardwalk runs the length of the beach, convenient to avoid uncomfortably hot sand, passing over into a lovely promenade on the left end of the bay, easily connecting you to either end. You’ll find a very good choice of bars and restaurants along its length. Some are open the whole year round and so Talamanca is very popular in the winter months for walks around the bay and lunches in the warm winter sun.

It’s fringed with a wonderful selection of beach bars and restaurants. Some packed with locals, such as Bar Flotante (a popular and affordable spot for breakfast) and the very popular restaurant of the Talamanca Hostel, here you get great food all day, especially fresh fish and seafood. There are also some very high end gourmet places, such as the beautiful Harbour Club – or grab one of the best pizzas on the island at Club Talamanca.
