Talaiot Capocorb Vell

The prehistoric settlement of Capocorb Vell is one of the most important archaeological sites of Mallorca. Even though it corresponds to the Talayotic culture its edifications were used until the Middle Ages. The ruins are extended over half a kilometer, where there are four circular talayots, three square talayots and a tumulus. The first excavations were made between  1910 and 1920 and some of the ruins are very well conserved.
