Dating 1316, Santueri Castle was constructed on the remains of an Arab fortification that was formerly created from Byzantine rests. Together with Alaró’s and Rey’s Castles, Santuery’s one is one of the three rocky Middle-Ages castles of Mallorca, as its shape was created from the rocks of the mountain where it rises. Since its construction, it has been part of numerous historical facts of the island that are explained along the visit. From its top, it’s possible to see a nice view of the sea and Menorca and Cabrera on clear days.
