A small chapel was built in mount Puig de Sant Salvador (509m) in 1348 as a strategy to get protected from the bubonic plague that was spreading in the island. Nowadays sanctuary was constructed between 1707 and 1716. The road to get here is quite narrow and it has a lot of bends, you can patiently do it by car or by walk or bicycle if you feel like doing a lot of sport. The views from above are amazing, as Cabrera and almost all Mallorca can be seen. There’s also a restaurant and a picnic area if you prefer to have lunch surrounded by trees.
