Sa Jugueta Museum

An original museum in Palma’s city centre, the toy’s museum. Due to the large amount and variety of the objects exhibited here, this toy’s museum is considered as one of the most important in Spain. The owner of all of them is Antoni Roig Clar, who started this collection in 1975 when he was studying in Barcelona. During these years, he has managed to put together over than 1.000 toys, 300 of which are exhibited at the museum. The oldest date from 19th century and the most recent ones are nowadays toys. They are from all over the world and they are a very particular way to go over the history of our contemporary society.

Furthermore, the museum organises cultural activities and games every week, both for adults and children. Its bar/restaurant is also very famous, as it’s a meeting point for local people, where we can have a traditional majorcan meal or have a drink with friends.
