Portinatx´s Port

In fact it´s not the kind of port you´re thinking of, this one´s called “Portinatx del Rei ” that is some kind of  “King´s Landing” ( lol), here´s where Jaume I troops landed and fought against the muslims to conquer the island for his kingdom in 1235.

About 40 meters long and 20 wide, fine gold sand, the sea bed is sandy as well. In front of the beach there´s a rock called “sa Guardiola” that keeps this beach from winter floods. On your left there´s a nice ibizan restaurant, ideal at night if you´re looking for a quiet place. On the opposite side a beach bar and a diving center, we´ve got to say that in the north of the island we´ve got very popular places to dive between the diving lovers.

From here there´s a beautiful and easy hike to “es Moscarter Lighthouse”.
