Natural Park of Llevant Peninsula

Located in the northeast of the island this park comprises a wide variety of habitats. The protected area is 1671 hectares and it’s possible to walk through a great diversity of environments: coastal cliffs, caves, streams, forests and scrubland. Information about all the possible itineraries is offered at the park office in Artà, where they also organise group excursions and different activities. Apart from observing incredible natural surroundings, during the visit it’s also possible to spot different animals. Of special importance are the Mediterranean sea turtle populations, but there are also colonies of Audouin’s gulls, cormorants, a large population of Eleonor falcon and hawks.
