Hams Caves

This famous caves in Porto Cristo are worldwide recognised for their unique formations hook shaped (“ham” meaning hook in Mallorca). The caves have more than 10 million years but they weren’t discovered until 1905 by the speleologist Pedro Caldentey. In 1910 they became the first caves in Spain to be opened to the public. During the tour, you’ll see the Round Cave, a huge botanical garden with native fauna, the Blue Cave, where a spectacular time-lapse is projected, the Classic Cave, composed of 12 galleries and an underground lake, the Sea of ​​Venice, where a music concert is offered.
