Fundación Juan March Museum

The Museu Fundación Juan March is housed in a beautiful 17th century mansion known as the Can Gallard des Canyar. Originally built as a residence, it was remodeled in the early 20th century and reconfigured as a museum in 1990. The permanent collection counts with the works by the most important artists of the early 20th-century vanguards, mid-century artistic movements and recent generations such as Pablo Picasso,  Julio González, Joan Miró and Salvador Dalí. It also houses artworks by the new generation artists appeared in the second half of 20th century: the painters Juan Navarro Baldeweg, Miguel Ángel Campano and Miquel Barceló and sculptors like Juan Bordes, Susana Solano or Sergi Aguilar.

The museum also offers contemporary art courses, art courses for children and conferences.

It is located in carrer Sant Miquel, a popular commercial road with numerous shops and restaurants.
