Es Bol Nou

Es Bol Nou is known by almost everyone on the island as “Sa Caleta”, which is the name for the natural port at the south of this area.
Down the red clay cliff, this area was one of the first sites where phoenicians settled in 650 b.C.  The sandy area is not too large, but there are also wonderful & great rocky areas to bathe. The contrast between the different reds and browns of clay on the cliffs and also the colors of the rock against the colors of the sea make this beach a real beauty for the eye.
A very nice restaurant on the top, with the same name, you can not leave it without tasting one of our local products “café caleta” ( you can imagine, café mixed with rum and cognac, and other herbs)  the picture of this is taken of their facebook, it is really a paradise.
You cannot miss the chance to explore the sorroundings, if you head south (to your left ) you´ll find archaeological sites such as the Phoenician Settlement, and Sa Caleta´s Port.
