Es Baluard Museum

Located right between La Lonja and Santa Catalina neighborhoods, Es Baluard is a modern and contemporary art museum, a reference in the island. Permanent exhibition include the paintings, sculptures, photographs, videos and art installations of artists that have been connected to the Balearic Islands along their careers: starting from the beginning of 20th century and arriving nowadays, visitors will enjoy the art works of Joaquim Mir, Anglada-Camarasa, Joaquín Sorolla, Picasso, Joan Miró, Miquel Barceló or Christian Boltanski, among others. Temporary exhibitions are constantly renewed and a wide range of activities are organised throughout the year, such as activities for children, film festivals, concerts and cultural meetings.

It also has a nice bar/restaurant and amazing views of Palma’s promenade.
