Situated at the eastern end of Playa Migjorn this white sandy beach has a diving and windsurfing school which was one of the first of its kind on the Balearic islands.
You won’t feel crowded here but you will feel a bit closer to civilisation than on Playa Migjorn as there are beach bars, restaurants, sun loungers, parasols and pedaloes.
This coastal stretch is characterized by the fact of being very long, the beach is sandy and at the rear you can find a system of dunes with fixing vegetation (like pine trees, bushes and scrubland), a gentle slope, wind blowing from the sea, a moderate swell, the ground is covered by high and extensive posidonia meadows and it has quiet and crystal clear water. These last particularities invite to dive on surface.
The marine and underwater conditions for anchoring boats are good if you stay at more than 100 metres from the coast. The beach is exposed to the winds from the south and the ground is sandy and rocky.
