Eglésia Vella

Caimari’s village didn’t have a church until 18th century, reason why its inhabitants  used the private chapel located in Son Albertí building as their sacred temple. Afterwards, during 1732, a church was built annex to the building and became Caimari’s main cult place until 1890, when a new church was built in the village. Nowadays the Églesia Vella, meaning “old church” in Mallorcan, has became a cultural centre, where concerts and art exhibitions are organised.
