Dolls’ Museum

The tour of this original museum goes through the story regarding dolls. It starts on their origins, when they were religious figures in wood or terracotta that were part of nativity scenes or pre-Columbian cloth dolls, that were found in children’s graves. The collection contains more than 500 pieces from many different countries: France, Italy, Germany, Japan, etc. Most part of the collection belongs to the so called “doll’s golden age” corresponding to 1840-1930 period. There’s also an important collection of the famous Spanish dolls Mariquita Pérez and Gisella.
