This sanctuary is located in the top of Mount Randa (543 meters) where, as it is said, the Blessed Ramon Llull arrived and found the illumination. Due to this experience, in 1275 Ramon Llull decided to create the Marian Altar that eventually was transformed into nowadays sanctuary. The views of the island from here are astonishing and there’s also a hotel if you wish to stay overnight and a good restaurant with majorcan specialities.
