Cala d´Hort Beach

Facing the islands of Es Vedrà and Es Vedranell, they are one of the most pictured sites of the world. The view is amazing, the sand beach can be quite small, but it is enlarged by little rocky corners where you can comfortably lay as well. Parking can be difficult depending on your arrival time. Here you will enjoy the most sublime sunsets in the world, fine sand, crystal turquoise waters, the beach faces southwest so in hot summer days breeze can be great, but not so in winter.

It may be about 200 meters long, but not too wide, maybe 25 meters in its widest point. There are some sunbeds & sunshades, a small & rustic pear to your left and to your right you´ll see many boat sheds & cabins beneath one of the gorgeous restaurants called “es Boldadó” which is standing at a vantage point over the fishermen’s cabins and a privileged site where to comfortably have a great lunch or enjoy a romantic night.

Restaurante el Carmen is placed almost in the middle of the beach…and has a wonderful view over the whole area and a beautiful terrace, people here talk about paellas or fried eggs with chips. At the small roundabout there is another little restaurante at the corner of the beach where they serve paellas, fish food and meat. And finally coming from Cala Carbó to Cala d´Hort you´ll find to your right hand side another sign on the road, it takes you to restaurante Es Boldadó, stunning views and as said, a must!
Please remember or try to book if you want to make sure you´re enjoying the food and the views, depending on the time of the year can be very difficult get a table at the time you want without a phone call, especially the tables beside the balconies.
