The Artistic Creation Area Foundation was created by the composer Antoni Caimari Alomar in 1978, as a vehicle to protect, develop and coordinate Balearic contemporary musical culture within the European community. There’s a sound archive in the “Piano Sala”, with a great collection of recordings of musical history and musical culture, a music library and a broad scores’ library. There’s also a multifunctional space, where classical music concerts are often organised, and a recording studio, known for its piano “Bösendorfer Imperial”.
