Wim Mertens Solo
During this tour Mertens will perform on many different stages with a selection of performances based on his latest album Cran aux Oefs. Modern Brussels, ancient Rome and Greece are all portrayed in this new show. Cran aux Oefs is a trilogy of musical-fiction which questions the connection between music, poetry and the truth.
Wim Mertens will intrepret great pieces of the trilogy on the piano and songs from his albums Charaktersketch, What are we, Locks, to do? And Dust of Truths, but he will also include some of his new arangements.
Since his debut in 1980 Mertens has visited countries all over the world and has recorded moret han 60 albums
