The days will begin on Tuesday, June 26 at 4 pm with a presentation by the counselor Lydia Jurado, and the gender vowel of Médicos del Mundo Baleares, Roser Alenyar. Later, there will be the papers ‘The prostitution as a result of a global world’ by Beatriz Gimeno (feminist and deputy at the Madrid assembly), ‘The other side of prostitution: the pimp’ by Manel Lozano (Director, screenwriter and producer of social cinema), ‘HIV from the eyes of and migrants’ by Débora Álvarez del Arco (sociologist and doctor in Medical and Social Sciences), and’ The effects of migration on health: Psychological effects and resilience ‘by Iriome Rodríguez (psychologist and intervention technician at Médicos del Mundo Canarias). These talks will be alternated with questions and debates where attendees can participate.
On Wednesday the talks and debates will continue, and will be discussed the themes’ Project MdM Transgenerant Salut ‘by Laia Miller and Paula Munro (project techniques in the area of sexist violence and LGBTI Phobia in Doctors of the World of Catalonia),’ Transgender and rejection labor: are there alternatives to prostitution? ‘ in charge of Duviela Agredo Gutiérrez (Mdm health agent and trans activist), ‘Main causes of demand for access to the health system of women in prostitution’ by Cristina Molina (coordinator of the Area of Women of the Area of Salud de Ibiza y Formentera), y ‘Perspectiva de género para comprender la prostitución’ a cargo de Patricia Martínez Redondo (antropóloga y educadora social). The conferences will be closed by the Director of Equality of the Consell of Eivissa, Judith Romero.
