Antonio Turiel is a Senior Scientist of the CSIC at the Institute of Marine Sciences of the CSIC. It is dedicated to the investigation of non-linear phenomena, particularly turbulence, and physical oceanography by means of remote sensing. He is also secretary of the Executive Committee of the Barcelona Expert Center, which advises the European Space Agency on the development and improvement of algorithms of the Earth Observation SMOS mission.
Author of more than 80 specialized scientific articles, he is also an expert in natural resources and sustainability issues of our society, he edits and is the main author of a well-known blog in Spanish on this subject, The Oil Crash and presides over a small association dedicated to the disclosure of these problems, the Oil Crash Observatory.

Damià Gomis is professor of Earth Physics at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB).
He is an expert in Physical Oceanography and a specialist in topics related to regional climate scenarios such as oscillations in ports; the diagnosis of physical processes or the dynamics of the Southern Ocean.
