Is the patron of the capital of the island (Sant Francesc Xavier)
Parties follow the schedule of festivities during the day. In the morning Mass is celebrated in the church of the same village followed by other religious events and entertainment. In the afternoon it´s interesting to see the “ballad” which is the typical “ball pagés” of the island (dancing – folklore). At night the fireworks are launched to make way for the party with live musical groups and orchestras in the town square.
