ES PORT, SA PENYA I LA MARINA
Following with the first route that took place last saturday, we´re having the second Route. The reason, the excuse is get to know Dalt Vila, the old town through the eyes of s´Arxiduc the Historian that came to visit the islands between 1867-1885.
The walk begins in Plaza de sa Font, to go to the Plaza of the Constitution were they will tell us how and why did the access to the Old Town change to Portal de ses Taules and what it ment to restructure the area and build the local market and the fish market.
Then will continue until sa Torre del Mar and will explain the expansion of the port at that time.
