Exhibition- “Huellas de mujeres geniales” @ Centre Cultural de Jesús
“Footprints of great women” aims to disseminate twenty-five women who have excelled in the fields of science, politics, philosophy, art and education, and who had to fight twice to overcome the invisibility that Women have suffered throughout history. Thus, in this exhibition we can find some names that will surely be familiar to visitors -Marie Curie, Audrey Hepburn, Clara Campoamor, Hannah Arendt with others who, unfortunately, have fallen largely to oblivion -Wanhari Maathai, Maria Reiche, Alexandra David Néel or María Blanchard, among others-.
The exhibition brings together the work and life history of these twenty-two women through highly-didactic panels, in which their contributions are valued.
