Collective exhibition Kakemono’
“Kakemonos”, a type of traditional Japanese art, whose origin however dates from
the Tang Dynasty in China, based in turn on the cult of murals, originating in Tibet,
entering Japan from the hand of esoteric Buddhism, based on paintings that in Europe
They are equivalent to our “frames”, and they are rolled or unfolded and can be hung
vertically Between the differences with the western painting, the kakemonos usually work
in silk and paper, attached a mount that has the support function,
and made with paper of vegetable origin and textile texture.
