Synopsis: Daniel Mantovani, an Argentine writer awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature, left his town forty years ago and left for Europe, where he triumphed writing about his hometown, Salas, and his characters. At the peak of his career, the mayor of Salas invites him to name him “illustrious citizen” of the same, and Montavani, against all odds, decides to cancel his busy schedule and accept the invitation.
