From the 30th july until the 4th of octubre, the MACE ( Museo Arte Contemporáneo de Eivissa) will presume to have together in an exhibition center two of the most renowned and influential artists of contemporary art: Douglas Gordon and Tobias Rehberger.
Both join forces in the exhibition ‘After the After’.
This exhibitons tries to check the status of Ibiza as an iconic place for hedonism, the party and deline, at the same time examines the ‘after’ (defined as ‘after point’), which It could also be defined as “slump” that occurs when any party that inevitably comes to an end; “Time of emptiness and paranoia in which the individual should not be alone,” defined.
The works in the exhibition include videos, paintings and sculptures. Displayed both in the museum grounds and in the urban environment of MACE.
